Hydrocarburates Trade Services Ltd. was established in Dublin, Ireland, in 2006 with the purpose of trading solid fuels, primarily petroleum coke and coal.

In just a few years, HTS has become a market leader, expanding its activities and services worldwide.

In 2012 the group established a new subsidiary in Mexico, Hydrocarburates TS Mexico. This company handles the importation, sales and distribution of coal, petcoke, anthracite, and other raw materials. It is also the only official distributor of the German brand Vautid in Mexico.

HTS’s expansion continued in 2013 with the incorporation of Spanish Hydrocarburates TS SLU with the aim of distributing and commercializing fossil fuels worldwide.

In 2014, in the process of further internationalization, the Group established in Casablanca a new subsidiary, Hydrocarburates TS Morocco, with the purpose of import, distribution of solid fuels throughout Morocco and production of micronized coke.
