HTS Morocco has a production plant of micronized petcoke strategically located in Berrechid , allowing the company to provide the best service , fastest delivery and lowest prices to customers. At the same time, the Company can produce in different qualities, size and technical specifications to meet the need of every customer.
Products
Micronized Coke
Micronized coke is obtained after drying and grinding petroleum coke to a size between 80-100 microns.
Thanks to this process, the properties of the product improve substantially, with a greater homogenization of the size, a reduction in the percentage of humidity, an increase in the calorific value and greater stability in the combustion process.
Petroleum coke
Petroleum coke is a porous solid material, black or dark gray with high carbon content and different levels of sulphur, depending on its quality, which is produced as a by-product of oil refining process.
Thanks to its low volatility and its high calorific value, fuel grade petroleum coke is an excellent fuel option for electrical generation plants, cement plants and other industries who need to achieve high combustion temperatures. About 71% of the total production of petroleum coke is used as an energy source. Petroleum coke is also an excellent carbon source.
